Bouquet Recipe: Featured on 100 Layer Cake

The Southern Table was ecstatic for our fall bouquet from the Southern Fried Paper studio shoot with Apryl Ann Photography to be featured as a recipe on 100 Layer Cake. Our styled shoots give us an opportunity to showcase different floral styles and combinations. It's so great, from a vendor standpoint, to have a client who has done their research. When brides can articulate their likes and dislikes, it makes the design process that much better.  The Southern Table takes all those inspirations and creates a one of a kind bouquet for bride.

Let us know if you have any questions about seasonal blooms shown here and substitutions if needed!  Enjoy!

Real Wedding: Lindsey + Joe

Lindsey and Joe were such a wonderful couple to work with. Their love of color and life was shown throughout their picturesque wedding. This gorgeous couple are also close friends of ours, so seeing their day come together meant so much.

There is nothing better than a bride seeing her bridal bouquet for the first time and loving it! This first image is one of our favorites. Just pure joy from a bride and the excitement her big day will bring!

Thank you Linsey and Joe! We loved being a vendor and attending your wedding!

California is always a good idea

If you follow the Southern Table on instagram, you probably saw that we recently returned from a dream California adventure. We had a blast relaxing in Napa wine country and San Francisco. I couldn't help but take in all the natural beauty the state had to offer!

In San Fransico I stumbled upon this adorable shop that had only vintage ribbon. It was so inspiring searching through these amazing additions for our brides!

There were such amazing succulents growing in the area. Had to showcase this huge one!!

Art House Dallas: HANDMADE Series

This past week we had our collaboration class with Art House Dallas for their HANDMADE series. We were honored to be asked to teach a floral beginners class! It was such an amazing turn out and all the participants were so much fun! It was so much fun we actually only snapped a few pictures.

Even though Dallas is still having 100 degree plus weather, the floral season is beginning to transfer into fall. We enjoyed working with some pre-fall florals like magnolia leaf, astilbe, dusty miller, ranunculus, and poppies.

Thank you to everyone involved! It was such a blast!

Real Wedding: Stefanie and Brad

Stefanie and Brad were married at the beginning of the summer at the magical Dallas Arboretum. The couple was looking for traditional, pure white floral with pops of green and navy that were unexpected and unique. We incorporated Texas navy thistle and succulents to give the florals a mixture of texture and color. The centerpiece collections were an eclectic mix of milk glass, silver and cut crystal vases.

We j'adore stripes! When we presented Stefanie with a selection of ribbon, it was a clear winner to tie all the elements together with a navy stripe. It's so modern and the boutonnieres looked so classic with the groom's traditional tuxedo.

With images from the amazing Thisbe Grace Photography, this couple's romantic and modern wedding was captured beautifully. Thank you for letting The Southern Table be a part of your beautiful day!

Styled Studio Shoot

We were elated when Southern Fried Paper asked us to participate in their styled shoot, showcasing their studio lobby re-design by Kiki Preston Design. The lovely Apryl from Apryl Ann Photography was a perfect fit for this space. Tons of natural light and visual installations everywhere!

This was our first photo shoot for the summer and we were thrilled to participate. We loved the idea of the traditional gold frames that surround unique and fresh invitation suites. This was perfect inspiration for the florals for the shoot.
